Study abroad programs  – are formalized learning platforms – when a student travels to another country in the search for those important and valuable educational opportunities. This approach can have many benefits for a student and usually counts for credit to a higher education, but many students who are educated abroad do it for the experience and not for credit. For example, if a student in the US wanted to learn French, he or she would exchange with a student from France who seeks to learn English. Many students who are a part of study abroad programs do it during the summer or some type of school break. It is very popular to travel to European countries, especially popular countries include: Spain, Denmark, Germany, Sweden, Holland, England and France.
