Consider this for those interested in free colleges, scholarships and grants. There are literally thousands of philanthropic organizations as well as private parties who are ready and willing to give financial aid to students who show even the slightest degree of commitment and drive. The challenge is taking the time to sort through all of the possibilities to successfully identify the legitimate opportunities. But there IS hope. Why? Well, while a private college education can cost tens of thousands of dollars, anyone with a little ingenuity and a lot of self motivation and confidence can get their college education at a drastically reduced price and in many cases even for free.

Harvard University announced over the weekend that from now on undergraduate students from low-income families will pay no tuition. In making the announcement, Harvard’s president Lawrence H. Summers said, “When only ten percent of the students in elite higher education come from families in the lower half of the income distribution, we are not doing enough. We are not doing enough in bringing elite higher education to the lower half of the income distribution. ”

If you know of a family earning less than $60,000 a year with an honor student graduating from high school soon, Harvard University wants to pay the tuition. The prestigious university recently announced that from now on undergraduate students from low-income families can go to Harvard for free… No tuition and no student loans!
To find out more about Harvard offering free tuition for families making less than $60,000 a year, visit Harvard’s financial aid website at:<a href="http://www.fao.
FINAL NOTE: Watch your email this month for the subject “Stanford Reply and Special Offer”. It’s taking a while to get the
video up. But since some people are in countries where they don’t have the highest speed internet I am doing it in a way
that EVERYONE can get access to it (even if they have to download it vs. trying to attend live).

I’ve had to put a lot of work into it but you guys are worth it!

Being able to get a good education can be the extremely solid foundation that can shape a persons future. This is our way of developing our potentials and be competitive in any field or industry that we choose. We need to be able to provide and arm ourselves with the right knowledge to emerge victorious and successful in any endeavor we immerse ourselves.

This is the reason why many people value their education so much and go to great lengths to avail of themselves of this huge opportunity. But this does not necessarily mean that getting an education should be all hard work. You can also have some fun along the way, and what can more exciting, fun and adventurous than studying abroad?

More and more people have taken this route to finish their education for a variety of reasons. It can be seen as a very significant moment in a student’s life. You gain a lot of advantages over other students as your perspectives and your attitude will surely change. You will have a wider and broader view of everything around you.

Editor’s comment: Are you you trying to decide why study abroad in the next several weeks? Read on…..

Here are some of the reasons why studying abroad is an excellent option:

1. Academic Credit: This is of course your main goal. To get credited with the courses and classes you attend and apply it to your educational requirements when you graduate. Whether you plan to complete your studies there or you want to take just a couple of classes, make sure that you will be able to use it.
2. Learning a new Language (tip: Universities in Sweden often offer free classes for the Swedish language): With so many developments in technology, the world market is becoming smaller and smaller. More and more companies from different countries are doing business and these companies are looking for employees that can break down the language barrier.
3. A Great Learning Experience: When you study abroad chances are that you will be living independently. There will be a lot of practical life experiences that you can be able to use later on. Also, if you are considering learning a specific course, certain areas will be able to provide more knowledge and information about it.
4. Recipe for an Impressive Resume: Having international experience will be a big plus factor on your resume. Employers will be more impressed knowing that you have the skills that they need in an international level.
5. Fun and Lasting Memories: Not only will you be able to learn and develop yourself; you will also be having the time of your life. When at breaks or free times, you can learn more about the culture of the country you are studying in. You will also be meeting new friends and mentors, these are some of the defining moments in your life that you will never ever forget.

Before finally deciding or embarking on a great adventure through studying abroad, you need to talk to a lot of people first. Your parents should know about your decision, as they most probably will be the one to shoulder your expenses. If you are lucky enough to get a scholarship, you still have to let them know.

You can also talk to your academic advisor as well as a study abroad advisor to learn about the requirements and if this decision is advisable to you.

Many students perceive studying abroad as impossible, this is attributed to a few reasons like the financial issue. This is the time to talk to a finance advisor or to an organization that offers programs where in you will be given assistance.

Take the time to research first. This will ensure a smooth and easy transition. Now go ahead, see the world, study abroad.

There are 100% tuition-free colleges and universities in the world And, world-class universities too! There are almost a dozen tuition free schools in the USA and hundreds in Europe. After spending thousands of dollars (over $120,000 to be precise) to put myself through an elite liberal arts college, I wanted more affordable options for graduate school.

TUITION FREE UNIVERSITIES

Armed with information from a friend, I was clued on to what is probably the best kept secret in education around the world – world-class tuition-free universities and college that are funded by the government and open to virtually all. These are schools with Bachelor’s, Master’s even PHD programs that are world class (see world university rankings at the end of this guide).

In most cases, the only eligibility requirement for these schools is acceptance. For virtually all the schools listed in Europe and several in the USA, it DOES NOT matter whether a citizen. The price tag that typically goes along with world class schools – $10,000, $20,000 even $30,000 a year in tuition costs- is not something that you will have to worry about. That’s pretty amazing, isn’t that amazing?

The best way to use this resource guide is as a roadmap. We’ve pointed you to schools that most people are unaware of. Or if they are aware of them, it takes hours upon hours to scan through the thousands of pages on the internet to find them. For schools that you are interested in, you should visit the websites of these institutions (simply type the name of the schools in ” ” in Google or Yahoo search engine to get what is called an “exact” match). For many schools, email addresses, phone numbers and website addresses are already listed here.

The following schools while not totally, notheless offer “Need Blind Admissions”. This means that if you apply and are accepted to these schools, you will only have to pay for what the college or university determines you can pay. In other words, if you are accepted and fill out your financial aid forms and the college determines you can only pay $500 dollars (even though it costs $30,000 to attend), they will award you scholarship and grants to cover the amount you owe – in this case $30,000-$500=$29,500 is what you would be awarded in scholarships. As for the $500 most of these schools allow you to take out loans for the amount that you would owe (in this case $500). So, while these schools are not tuition free, they still provide the option to attend a school that you would normally not be able to afford.
