This is an important development! Just a short time ago, the Swedish government has announced that Swedish government has announced that some $2.9 million in international student scholarship funding is going into place.

This money will be used to help offset tuition fees charged to students from developing countries who want to study at Swedish universities.

The Education Minister said, “The quality of our university programmes increase when successful international students participate,”

“Scholarships is a way to attract talented students.”

Starting with the 2011-2012 academic year, students from outside of the European Union can no longer study for free at Swedish universities.

To help offset the costs for talented students as well as those from developing countries, the government also created scholarships totaling 90 million kronor.

Currently, two thirds of the funds originally set aside for scholarships are disbursed through individual universities.

The remaining 30 million kronor (abour $5Million) are managed by the Swedish Institute as part of a general scholarship fund for students from countries listed by the Organisation for Economic Co-

operation and Development as countries in need of foreign aid.

But according to the government’s new spending proposal, the general scholarship fund for students from developing countries would rise to 50 million kronor, a funding increase of 60 percent.

“Through more scholarships we contribute to the increase of the capacity to face economical, political and social challenges in these countries,” Minister for International Development Cooperation,

Gunilla Carlsson said in a statement.

If you want to study in Sweden whether you’re from Africa, Asia, the USA or some other part of the world – you can still apply for scholarships. All is not lost with the new tuition fee change.

Cyprus is a part of the European Union. Though Greek is its official language, it is easy for English speakers to fit in as most of the population is fluent in it and the University of Nicosia is English speaking. There are very few colleges there but the University of Nicosia was set on U.S. educational standards. They are relatively unknown, so it is easier to get a spot in there school. Cyprus is a safe and stable nation. It is also a predominantly Christian nation. The University of Nicosia offers many different academic options. Since all of the classes are taught in English, there is no need for language. It is also a culturally diverse experience. You will be attending classes with people from all over the native country. It is also a historical country that is hands on.
